The tenants of happiness

  • Do not fear life, love, happiness and the possibilities that resides within tomorrow. We all die and it does not get uncertain or scarier than that so we are functionally equipped to sustain lesser uncertainties.
  • Do not blame anyone for your choices, own them, make them, discard them and learn and move on.
  • Be happy, happiness is a choice. We can be happy by just deciding to be, believe it or not it is in our hands.
  • You can go high on endorphins through moving your body and getting to know it again. Practice embracing yourself, its magical.
  • Allow yourself to fall in love with you. You are wonderful, lovable, beautiful and simply amazing. Enjoy your own company, be friends with yourself, be honest and kind and gentle and caring for yourself, forgive yourself and do not allow yourself to be in harm ways, to be abused or used or sacrificed on the altar of illusions.
  • Love does not hurt, what hurts is the pains stored through our resistance to accept and forgive what passed. If love hurts it is because we are not kind to ourselves or others.
  • If someone hurt you, just know they hurt themselves, hurt breeds hurt. You might think you love them or is good for them but maybe your very act of love hurts them in ways you may never understand. Maybe they hurt because of their own resistance and unforgiving themselves and others. Whatever it is, keep sending love, let go and move on. Allow them the freedom that is their right to choose, to grow and to find their path. Sometimes we feel someone is our rescue mission while we are just hindering them and ourselves form moving forward.
  • Watch your thoughts and stop them at their tracks when they start drifting to negativity or useless chatter.
  • Practice acceptance and forgives every second of your awakening until they become a habit, a reflex.
  • Be mindful by observing yourself when you are upset or doing something out of norm and when you are doing automatic mindless acts. Live fully.
  • Put kindness first in every thing as much as you can, forgive and ask for forgiveness when you fail.
  • Do not allow your ego to master you. As hard as it is for us in the physical world, we need to continue this struggle. Watch when you identify with things, titles, and even association with the outer looks and attributes of people of your group. Know you are a perfect being within and nothing in this physical world will add or subtract of your true worth.
  • Be rich in goodness.Money is transit and none of it get attached to your soul, not in a good way anyway.
  • Reject hate, envy and gossip.
  • Smile to yourself and everyone.
  • Listen to nature sounds, to lovely music, to laughter, laugh.
  • Use positive affirmations, tell yourself positive things all the time about you and the world. Stop the doubtful chatter, the paranoid and fearful dialogues running endlessly in your mind.
  • Accept love. Give love. Love increase with the act of acceptance.
  • Know your are complete and can be happy on your own. If you are not happy alone you cannot be happy with another.
  • Try to be with those who share your awakening level and awareness of the world as much as you can, surround yourself with positive people who share their positive energy with you and you with them.
  • Stay in touch with friends.
  • Be good to at least one stranger per day, that include a smile, a nice comment on their clothes, looks or performance in service or posting positive messages, or supporting with kind words, or anything at all that is kind.
  • Reach out and donate some time for a good cause or to help a friend.
  • Do not be afraid of anything including death (again, yes).
